By accessing or using the website located at hyblavalleyconcrete.com or by requesting services from Hybla Valley Concrete, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or request our services. These terms apply to all visitors, estimate requests, and service engagements.
Hybla Valley Concrete is a concrete contractor based in Hybla Valley, VA, offering residential and commercial concrete services including driveways, patios, sidewalks, foundations, retaining walls, and related work. Services are performed in Hybla Valley and surrounding communities in Virginia. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.
All estimates provided by Hybla Valley Concrete are free of charge and carry no obligation. Written estimates are based on a site visit and reflect conditions observed at that time. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated in writing.
Actual project costs may differ from the estimate if site conditions, scope of work, or material costs change after the estimate is issued. We will notify you of any material changes before proceeding with additional work. Verbal price quotes are not binding - only written, signed estimates constitute a price commitment.
Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in material costs, labor availability, or permit requirements. Any changes to an accepted estimate require written agreement from both parties before work continues.
Project start dates are scheduled based on crew availability, permit timelines, and weather conditions. We will communicate your scheduled start date as early as possible and will notify you promptly of any delays.
Concrete work may be postponed due to weather conditions that could compromise the quality of the finished product, including extreme heat, freezing temperatures, or heavy rain. We will reschedule as soon as conditions allow.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice after materials have been ordered or permits have been pulled may be subject to costs incurred on your behalf, which we will itemize and communicate clearly.
Payment schedules are outlined in your written project agreement. A deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment in the forms specified in your project agreement.
Invoices not paid within the timeframe specified in your agreement may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to suspend or decline future work for accounts with outstanding balances.
You are responsible for providing accurate information about the project site, including any known underground utilities, structures, or hazards. Before excavation begins, we will arrange for utility marking through Virginia's Miss Utility program, but you must inform us of any private utilities not covered by this service.
You are responsible for clearing the work area of vehicles, equipment, and personal belongings before the scheduled start date. You are also responsible for obtaining any required HOA approvals before work begins. Delays caused by missing HOA approval or inaccessible work areas are not our responsibility.
Where permits are required by Fairfax County or other applicable governing bodies, we will obtain them on your behalf as part of the project. Permit fees are the customer's responsibility and will be included in the project estimate. We will not begin work that requires a permit until that permit has been issued. Final inspections are a normal part of the process and are scheduled by us on your behalf.
We stand behind the quality of our work. Any warranty terms specific to your project will be set out in your written project agreement. In general, we will return to address any defects in workmanship that become apparent within a reasonable period after project completion and that are not caused by factors outside our control.
Normal concrete behavior - including minor surface cracking, color variation, and the appearance of efflorescence - does not constitute a defect. Damage caused by misuse, extreme weather events, tree root intrusion, or failure to seal the surface as recommended is not covered. We will explain what to expect during your project walkthrough.
Except as expressly stated in your written project agreement, all services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so this exclusion may not apply to you.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hybla Valley Concrete and its employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this website or from the provision of services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim related to services provided shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the project to which the claim relates.
We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and directly. If you have a concern about our work or a billing matter, please contact us first at hi@hyblavalleyconcrete.com or (571) 788-4635. We will make a genuine effort to resolve any issue within a reasonable timeframe.
If a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing any other legal remedy. Any legal proceedings not resolved through mediation shall be conducted in the courts of Virginia, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
